Ohio Club - 2007
The Ohio Club met in Columbus Ohio at the Buckeye Hall of Fame. We had a great buffet lunch, lots of stories, friendship and love. The theme this year was Euclid Beach Park, an amusement park on the east side of Cleveland Ohio. The park first opened in 1895 and finally closed in 1969. The family grew its own popcorn in Huron County and it is still maintained by the 4th generation of the Humphrey's. The popcorn was featured on The Food Network's show, "Food Finds" and this really increased the sales of the popcorn and they were also famous for their taffy. All the guests received Humphrey popcorn balls and we used the taffy and Cleveland Stadium mustard as some door prizes. Thank you for everyone that attended and wish all the Ohio people could have joined us.
