KGC Alaskan Cruise - 2006
Unusually beautiful weather made this wonderful vacation a truly memorable experience. The group leaving from King's Gate departed on Saturday, June 3, 2006. Other King's Gaters and friends joined them in San Francisco. The Regal Princess sailed on Monday, June 5, 2006.
Look at some of our pictures taken by Chuck McIntyre and Don Richmond...
The travelers are ready early and waiting for the bus to arrive.
We touched down in San Francisco and boarded our tour bus to see the sights.
Chinatown was a colorful sight!
The Victorian "Painted Ladies" are a signt to see.
San Francisco is known for its fog - we now know why!

Here are the statistics on the bridge.
We're going over the Golden Gate and soon will sail under it.
Leo, hope your eyes weren't bigger than your stomach!
Clang, clang, clang, went the trolley, Ding, ding, ding, went the bell.
Eleanor and Jack relax in the sun.
Jay made sure we didn't miss our stop.
Alcatraz....here we come.
Now we're aboard ship...and sail under the Golden Gate Bridge.
The Sail Away party on the top deck.

This reminds us of our honeymoon...almost 55 years ago.
Two lovely ladies step out to the Captain's cocktail party.
Cheer up, Jack. The cocktails are free tonight.
Chuck McIntyre and his harem.
Chuck's sister, Marylin, and her friend, Ellen, joined the King's Gate group.
Irene Bette was a hit in the Adagio Lounge with Kemble at the Keys.
Cavaliers and Amatrudos are the big winners of Name That Tune.
We think the Round Table should buy us our own cruise ship.
I'll second that.
The King's Gate Cocktail party was a big success.
Let's toast to our Host and Hostess!
