Chuck Hamilton, 270 Camelot, had right knee replacement surgery, at Doctor's Hospital this past Monday.   Please keep him in your prayers and get well cards would be nice too!

TENNIS ANYONE?   Are you aware that we have an active tennis program here at KGC?   Think about joining us for some very healthful fun and activity.   Never played before?   No problem!   We will conduct some basic instruction classes to get you started.       ??  Call Diana Floyd, 483-3309 or George Agricola, 488-8520.

LEAGUE SHUFFLEBOARD will begin on Monday, Nov. 1, at 9:30 AM.   We need players.   Everyone is welcome.   Practice at 10 AM on Saturdays, until 11/1.       --Sandy Garver

QUILTERS, QUILTERS!!   Quilt groups will begin meeting on Monday, November 1 from 10-12 AM and 1-3:00 PM, in the Activity Room.  All returning quilters and anyone wishing to begin quilting are urged to attend as we begin our planning for the new season.   Anyone interested in finding out more about what we do is welcome.   If you have any questions, call Emily Keele at 484-8198 or Julie Walker, after November 1.

LADY GOLFERS interested in playing 9 holes of golf on Wednesday afternoons, beginning November 3rd at 2:30 pm at Calusa Lakes, please sign up in the clubhouse by Sunday noon.   For further information call Mary Carpenter or Sue Simmons.

MOVIE for Wednesday, Nov. 3rd will be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.   The Biblical story of Joseph is set to music in Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's production.   When Jacob's (Richard Attenborough) favorite son, Joseph (Donny Osmond), is sold into slavery by his envious siblings, Joseph ends up in jail but soon starts to interpret the Pharaoh's (Robert Torti) dreams.   Catapulted by his newfound fame, Joseph becomes an Egyptian power player.   Lloyd Webber's music offers something for everyone, from calypso to Elvis.   The movie starts at 7:30.       --Arlene Hyde

BLOOD DRIVE:   The blood mobile will be at KGC on Friday, Nov. 5, from at 8:30 until 11:30 AM.   If you can donate blood, please consider this note-worthy cause; there is always a high demand for blood in our area.   A sign-up sheet is posted in the clubhouse - pick your time.       --George Agricola

EUCHRE will commence on Friday evenings in the clubhouse at 7 pm starting November 5th.   There will be a new format this season with no sign-up required.   Come join us for a fun evening of Euchre.   Beginners wanting to learn the game may contact Lucy Kent at 412-4400.   She will give lessons on Tuesdays at 1 pm.

LINE DANCING will start on November 9th for advanced, November 11th for beginners, at 9:00 AM in the clubhouse. New dancers welcome.       --June McMains

GUIDE DOGS:   Good News!! Very unusual, but we now have THREE currently active "Puppies" we sponsor in training.   "Princess" will go back to the kennel in late November for GD training.   Queen is 10 months and our newest is Squire, born in July, is now four months old.   Set November 13 on your calendar and see all three puppies and their raisers at coffee meeting.   For returning residents, remember we still collect linens, towels and eyeglasses to go to the GD's.   Use the TUB in the stage left storage room (or give to Nip).   Thank you for your support.       --Nip Barker

Patio Party, the season's first, will be held on Sunday, November 14, from 2 to 4 PM.   Patty Highland will entertain us with her music to listen and dance to, and an ice cream social will be held during intermission.   The Round Table invites all to come and enjoy the music, greet friends and enjoy our patio and pool.       --Barb Amatrudo

BOWLING REMINDER:   You MUST call BEN, AT 484-3134, if you can not bowl on scheduled date.  

TRAVEL:   The travel desk is located in the back of the hall each Saturday, before the social meeting.   We show you what we have to offer and make reservations for our shows.   Please check us out.   If you plan on traveling with us, on any of the upcoming shows, I need a medical form filled out and put in a sealed envelope, in case of an emergency.   We have the forms at the travel desk.   We try to collect payments one month in advance, for upcoming shows, as buses have to be ordered and reservations have to be paid in advance.
Thanksgiving - November 25:   Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, round-trip transportation, wonderful Thanksgiving meal, with carved meats and all the trimmings.   Andrews Brothers is the show, in the Off Broadway Theatre, $60.   Only 4 tickets left… see us today!
