MICHIGAN GET-TOGETHER:   Shirley DePasquale reports that it was a humid 90 degrees---our 8th hottest summer in Michigan history---when we all gathered at Zehnder's in the beautiful Bavarian town of Frankenmuth, on August 4th.   We had the main dining room to ourselves and were ably served by our waiter, Duane.   The food was delicious, Present were Jim & Judy Blow, Sandy & John Vella, Joanie & Jack Grubaugh (former King's Gaters), Emil & Shirley DePasquale, Charlotte & Jim Alex, Win & Bob VanDeSteene, Sue Simmons & Bill Elliott and Dick & Sally Engelgau.   Everyone was pleased to see one another and exchange news about their summer plans and travels.   A trip to Frankenmuth has to include a visit to Bronner's, the world's largest Christmas store.   Even with the heat, Santa was dressed in fur from head to toe. (Thankfully, not a live Santa).
