THANK YOU for all your special thoughts, prayers, get well wishes and visits from our KGC friends while I was hospitalized for knee surgery with complications. A REMINDER OF RULES AND REGULATIONS (ONE RULE WILL BE POSTED EACH WEEK)
RULE 12 - LAWN SPRINKLING Members are not allowed to tap into the Club's central water system for lawn sprinkling purposes. Only hand sprinkling from the central water system is allowed except for the first fourteen days of a new lawn when sprinklers may be used. Members are allowed to drill their own wells or tap the canal or lake with a pump. A written request to drill a well must be approved by the appropriate government authority and the Board of Directors. Downspouts or storm drains shall not be connected to the Club sanitary sewer system. All matters relating to lawn sprinkling shall comply with Sarasota County water restrictions.
WEDNESDAY MOVIE: The movie for Wednesday April 28th will be Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera". A disfigured musical genius, hidden away in the Paris Opera House, terrorizes the opera company for the unwitting benefit of a young protégée whom he trains and loves. Rated PG13.... PLEASE NOTE: THIS MOVIE RUNS A LITTLE OVER 2 HOURS SO IT WILL START AT 7:00 PM AND I WILL NOT SHOW PLANET EARTH. This will be the last movie of the season. Remember I am always open to suggestions on movies you would like to see. --Arlene

NEW OWNERS: Welcome to Harvey and Norma Haeker who have purchased 57 King Arthur Drive. They are from Overland, KS. They rented here this winter. We hope you enjoy many happy years with us at KGC!
FULL-TIME RENTER: Welcome to Colombe Adams, who is renting 63 King Arthur Drive. She is from Stuart FL, and will be living here on a full-time basis. Colombe is the sister of Ben Quirion. We hope you enjoy your stay with us at the Club!
THOUGHTS: Sue Logan is taking a well-deserved rest as Newsletter Editor and we hope Sue and Tom have a happy, healthy summer in Michigan. And, Dee Hicks returns as summer Editor. Both of these gals are great "bosses" and I thoroughly enjoy working with them. Newsletter Editor is an important job here at the Club and one we all sort of take for granted. So, we want to say a big "Thank You" to each of you for your work. --SJB
