NEW YEAR'S EVE DANCE AND PARTY:   A delightful evening was enjoyed by 83 guests at the Club, on New Year's Eve.   Pat Savoie chaired this party and her committee was as follows:   Jean Oakley, Mickey Fournier, Lois and Neil Crane, Carole and Tom Weber, Sandy and Chuck McIntyre, Diana and Joe Floyd, Dot Grams, and Vic Griseto.   Tom Hicks helped the entertainer with his sound system and lights.   Charlie Fote came back at 11:30 PM to show Times Square and the Ball Drop at midnight.   The finger food was delicious and the music enjoyable.   Everyone toasted with champagne at midnight.   List of donated gift certificates were; Ophelia's Pasta House, New China Restaurant, Salt Water Cafe, Dimitri's Buffet Restaurant, Albertson's and Denny's - all free!!!   Thanks to Pat and her committee for all their work!!!

THOUGHTS:   It's chilly this morning, but I'm still happy I'm here rather than in Minnesota.   Plan to attend Candidates' Night this evening.   It's your chance to find out how the people running for office feel about issues in the Club.   Remember, these are the people who will help guide the various functions of the Club - both Board of Directors and Round Table - for the next two years.      ---SJB
