THOUGHTS:   It is almost impossible to believe that it is almost the end of 2008.   It seems that each year goes faster.   As I look back at this past year, I think of our dear residents who have passed away this year - they are missed by all of us.   I think, too, of the residents who have had to move due to health reasons or to get closer to their families.   They, too, are missed.   On a happier note, we've had new residents move here who are enthusiastic and happy to become a part of KGC.   We are also fortunate to have a dedicated Board of Directors and Round Table Committee and our life at Kings Gate Club continues to be great due to these people.   The Newsletter staff joins me in wishing for each of you a peaceful, healthy and happy year in 2009.       ---SJB

Woolworth menu

If any of you have doubt about what we kids paid for a coke and a sandwich at Woolworths ( How many don't know what Woolworth's was?) in the 1950's, here's proof of the era we lived in........

Can you believe it was in ENGLISH ONLY!!!!!!

(Thanks Vince Caudy for the nostalgia)
