KGC 4TH of JULY POTLUCK:   The Firecracker 500 will begin at 3:00 PM for fun and games; dinner at 5:30 PM.   Firecracker 500 car race - bring your quarters!   Patriotic Sing-along and Entertainment!   Tickets on sale Sat. morning - $5:00 each.   Create a patriotic hat to wear, and judges will award points for best hats.   Come and celebrate the 4th of July with friends and family.   Bring along a dish to share with others, as well as your personal tableware.   Chicken and dessert will be furnished.   BYOB.       --Tom and Martha Hicks

SINCERE CONDOLENCES to Fred Lewis and the family of Janet May Lewis, who died on Saturday, June 27, 2009.   Funeral services were held on Wednesday July 1, 2009.   Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.

THANK YOU!   I would like to thank all the thoughtful people at King's Gate for all the wonderful cards and words of encouragement during my recent illness.   I cannot begin to tell you how helpful these encouragements were.   I am now at home recuperating with the help of my two daughters.   I am looking towards returning to the most wonderful place (KGC) this fall.       Thanks again.   Phyllis Brown
