Additional volunteers are Eleanor Barth and Mary Jane Shelby. Residents are encouraged to continue their usage of this valuable asset. TWO NEW DVDS have been added to the video library: Last Chance Harvey, a light love story with Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson; they were nominated for best actor and actress, respectively. The second DVD is Fireproof, another good movie based on a love story with faith being the core of the movie. ---Jean Ickes
TRAVEL: Sept. 2009 Cruise is Best of the Baltic, with Princess Cruises - two nights in Denmark, as well as Scandinavia, Russia and Oslo, Norway. All details are on the web page and the travel board in the clubhouse. We have 30 scheduled to travel with us, and we would love to have you join us. Please give it some consideration.

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service, from the Civil War until today. The traditional observance of Memorial Day has diminished over the years. Let us remember the true meaning and traditions of Memorial Day . -- sl
