INFORMATIONAL SEMINAR: presented by Law Office of Harlan R. Domber, P.A,, regarding ways to Title Florida property, Homestead issues and Resale of Florida property, will take place on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, in the clubhouse, at 9:00AM.
MOVIE for Wednesday, 2/11/09 will be GHOST TOWN. British funnyman Ricky Gervais ("The Office," "Extras") stars in his first feature film lead as Bertram Pincus, a hapless gent who's pronounced dead, only to be brought back to life with an unexpected gift: a newfound ability to see ghosts. When Bertram crosses paths with the recently departed Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear), he gets pulled into Frank's desperate bid to break up his widowed wife's (Téa Leoni) pending marriage to another man. This movie is a comedy rated PG-13. Movie starts at 7:00. -- Arlene Hyde
JETTY PICNIC: At the North Jetty, on Feb. 12th. Social hour - 4-5 PM. Dinner at 5PM. Everyone welcome, enjoy the sunset and relaxation at the Jetty. Bring your favorite dish for at least ten to twelve people. Don't forget your table setting, beverage and snacks for the social hour. - Claire Becker
COMPUTER USERS GROUP: Don't forget to come, Fridays at 10 am in the clubhouse. We're trying to keep it fairly basic this year and cover topics by request. We have a new mailing list, so if you want to get an e-mail telling you the topics we'll be covering the next day, e-mail WrenMcMains and ask to be added to the list.
TENNIS MEETING to be held on Friday, February 13th at 2:00 P.M. in the Activity Room. Main agenda item will be tennis tournament at King's Gate Club.
GUIDE DOGS: "Annual Fund Raiser" for southeastern Guide Dogs will be on February 14th at social meeting. Your consideration of a monetary donation will be greatly appreciated. Also, Baron and Duchess will be here. -- Nip and Jackie Barker

OHIO CLUB will meet for lunch at BOCA GRANDE COUNTRY CLUB in Englewood, on Wednesday, February 18. The price will be $15.00 per person which includes entree, hot roles and butter, iced tea or coffee, tax and gratuity. ENTERTAINMENT: The Sahib Shrine will be here on Wednesday February 18, @ 7:00 P.M. You will hear banjo music and comedy. Tickets will be $5.00/pp and proceeds will be donated to the Shriners. Tickets will be on sale Saturday February 7 and on the 14th. Please support our entertainment.

SHUFFLEBOARD: Due to inclement weather (much-needed rain on Monday), and snow (oh, I meant to say, frost and very cold temperatures) on Thursday, there was no shuffleboard this week. - Ed.
SUPER BOWL PARTY THANKS!! A sincere thank you to everyone who helped to make our Super Bowl Party a fun time. THOUGHTS: Time goes by just too fast - guess that is because life is so great in "our little bit of Paradise". Figure we are about halfway through our stay for this year and that makes me sad.
