ENTERTAINMENT:   Get your tickets today for this Wed., Nov. 19th, at 7:30.  The Laporta Quartet will have you tapping your toes and humming the tunes!  Don't miss it.  Season tickets to all 5 shows this year $25.00 + $2.50 tax.  Individual tickets here today and at the door $6.00 + $.50 tax.

OHIO LUNCHEON:   Thurs. Nov. 20th, 11:30 a.m. at New Century Buffet at the Sarasota Square Mall, next to Sears. Great variety of food, coffee, tea, soda, tax and tip, $8.50 per person, NO COUPONS.  All new Ohio residents are most welcome, come join us and meet other Ohioans.  Sign-up sheet in hall, wear name tags.  Any questions please call Mary Lou 484-6807.

JETTY PICNIC:   The next Jetty picnic will be Thurs., Nov. 20, at the North Jetty.  Bring a dish to pass, your beverage, dinner service and come on down to the jetty.  Gather and social time 4:00 PM, eat at 5 PM .  Hope to see you.

HAIL TO THE QUEEN:   Gloria Carey was crowned KGC Queen at the Ladies Luncheon and Re-Sale Shop Fashion Show on Thurs., Nov. 13, in our Clubhouse.  Three other models were drawn as Queen Runner Ups:  1st - Fran Yaros, 2nd - Linda MacMillan, 3rd - Joan Potts.  Other models were Irene Bette, Loretta Brian (last year's KGC Queen), Dee Hicks, Joann Lemonds, Betty McDonald, and Inez Mercer.  The models' outfits were from Yesterday's Memories, 208 W. Miami Ave., Venice.  Thanks to Joann Lemonds who was Chairman and Mistress of Ceremonies for this fun event.  A delicious lunch by Affordable Catering was served to 175 attendees.  The Committee was Patty Ray, Loretta Brian, and Lucille Anderson.  Others who helped were:   Ellie Lambiotte (Blessing), Irene Bette (Pledge of Allegiance, "Let There be Peace"), Gwen Aldridge (Piano), Loretta Brian (Table Decorations), Gerry Coleman and Judy Spears (Ticket Sales), Charlene Joyce and Judy Leight (Beverage Servers), Marion Gladkowski (Program Set-Up), Ginny Ewing and Ann Kellum (Dressing Room Attendants), Wayne Anderson (Video), Chuck McIntyre (Digital Photos), Mary Jane Christopherson and the Committee (Clean-Up).  Thanks to Joann and everyone else who helped to provide the numerous door prizes for attendees and the lovely gifts for the Queen and her Court.

LIBRARY NOTES:   We now have a place to store our puzzles.  When contributing puzzles, would you please secure the box lid with tape (or whatever) so pieces won't be lost.  If you have a puzzle with a piece or two missing, mark the location(s) with missing pieces on the box photo and write "1 or 2 missing" on the back.         Thank you, Lois, Marge, and Ann

KGC TELEPHONE DIRECTORY CORRECTIONS:   If your northern address or phone number changes, please give the corrected information to Anne Guba in the KGC Office.   Sandy McIntyre will obtain the information for the Telephone Directory from the Office database.  It is not necessary to give directory changes directly to Sandy.
