Quilts of Valor 2016
At the Round Table meeting on November 12, KGC quilters presented Quilts of Valor to five veterans
who served in combat, one during the Korean War and four during the Vietnam War.
Debby Hatch said that the mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members
and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.
Quilters Emily Keele and Julie Walker wrapped the quilts around the veterans shoulders.
The veterans honored and their KGC sponsors were:
